I am glad to report

I am glad to report that my stitchy groove is slowly coming back. I managed to sit and stitch for about 30 minutes this week. I am hoping that after a short nap this morning I can get up and spend the rest of my day off stitching until I have a dr appointment and meeting to attend. I am currently working on a baby sampler for a co-worker of mine that had her baby over the weekend. I will post pictures as soon as I have enough progress made to take a picture of. I am also working on Quaker Christmas Bell Pull, I am loving stitching on it. It stitches so quickly. I have put aside the stockings for awhile since I was not going to be able to finish in time for christmas this year. I am quiet upset with myself that I was not able to finish all three of the stockings this year like I wanted, but with everything that has happened with my children this year, I will forgive myself.

Speaking of my children, things in that area are still really stressful. I have no idea which way to turn or whether I am even coming or going. I would really like the answer to just fall in my lap. Hopefully, someone will have information we need soon so that we know what is going to happen next. In this situation though, I really can not seem to find a good solution. I love both of my children, but unfortunately I will probably not be able to have them both at home at the same time for a long time. That really bugs me and stresses me. I guess what I really need at this time is a place with more bedrooms and a someone that is available 24/7 to watch my kids. Unfortunately, neither one of those are in my budget.

I can not believe that Christmas is so close and my tree is still in the storage building. With all that is going on, I just can't seem to get myself in the mood to drive out to my sister in laws to get the tree, just takes too much energy I don't really have. Besides, this is the second christmas that my oldest son will not be here and that makes it hard to get in the mood for the holidays. Maybe, I will just drive to the treatment facility for the day and spend the day with him then spend the next day with my other son and my husband.

Sorry, I didn't mean to get so long winded about depressing things. I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season and is getting to spend lots of time with family and friends. I did attend a nice relaxing party on Sunday afternoon that my work through for all the employees. I am thankful to have such a wonderful work family.

Until next time happy stitching and Merry Christmas
